Bat Mitzva – Cailey Ann Reiss 

Cailey Ann Reiss, daughter of Amy and Marty Reiss, will be called to the Torah for the first time as a Bat Mitzva on May 17.  She attends Millennium Middle School, where she has taken a special interest in video production courses.  Cailey loves to play video games when she is not on the field playing fast pitch softball.  Family members will be coming from Israel, Chicago, Hawaii, New York and California to celebrate with Cailey.  But she will be most happy to see her grandpa, who was called to the Torah for the first time one week prior to Cailey … sixty eight years ago.

Bat Mitzva – Anna Leah Karasik 

Anna Leah Karasik, daughter of Irma and Hillel Karasik, will be called to the Torah for the first time as a Bat Mitzva on May 24.  She is a seventh grader at Millennium Middle School and an Honor Student.  Anna loves being part of the choir at Millennium.  She also was selected to perform with All State Choir, which was showcased in Tampa, Florida.  Anna spends her free time reading, listening to music and shopping at the mall.

Book Club meets on Wednesday, May 14 at 7 p.m. – We'll discuss "Queenmaker" by India Edghill.  It is "a love story and a game of power set in the court of King David."
